Mithowan had to smile at Mrs. Kindasdar's last statement. Apparently, they were playing their part very well. Mithowan sat back as the server droids rolled out with food, and as soon as the food was on the table, he put some on his plate, and got Igatta whatever she pointed out. When they both had their food, Mith dug in.

Igatta ate the yummy food, pleased that she and Mith were playing their parts well...she could only hope the mission would continue to go this smoothely.

After lunch, when they were all excused to spend the time until dinner however they pleased, Mith walked Igatta back to their room. He sat in a chair and looked at her. "Chances are, he'll want to cement the deal over dinner. I'm bringing a recorder, hopefully we'll get enough to back an investigation and arrest."

"Good. Plus I bugged his office...that might help." <_<

"I think, if all goes well, we might be ready to get out of here tomorrow. We'll have to go on public transport, an NR ship dropping into system to pick up two of his former guests might raise the alarms in Marthimesh's head."

"I agree." Igatta sat down in a form-fitting chair and crossed her legs the way she usually did when sitting down, "I can't say I'll miss it here."

"I can't say I will either." Mithowan felt stupid, but he figured he should say it anyway. "I won't miss the planet, but I'll miss being with you." >_>

Igatta looked at him, shocked and dumbfounded. Her heart leapt once, so hard she thought it might jump out of her chest, a feeling foreign to her. She swallowed, her throat had suddenly become dry. She wanted to believe he meant he'd miss her as a partner because they worked well together, and maybe that was true, but something in the way he said it implied more. "Mithowan..." She was saved by the chime of the wall com. She stood quickly and went to it, a voice on the other end informed her that Marthimesh would like to meet with them in his office. "Thank-you. We're on our way." She switched it off.

Mithowan was glad for the excuse to save the discussion for another time. He wasn't sure what he'd caught on her face after he'd said it, but he hoped it was good. He made sure he still had his blaster, and then walked down the hall. This time he made a point of trying to to seem to attached to Igatta in case she took his statement the wrong way.

The were met by a household droid who showed them to the office, although they had already found the way themselves earlier. When they entered Marthimesh was seated behind the same desk Igatta had rummaged through this morning. "Ah, Mr. and Mrs. Zinitram, welcome. Please, sit down." He motioned to two hover-chairs in front of his desk. Igatta took the one on the left.

Mithowan sat next to Igatta, put his elbows on his knees, steepled his fingers, and looked at Marthimesh, waiting for him to continue.

"I thought perhaps now would be a good time for us to discuss the details of the arrangement I wish the forge between us." Marthimesh went over some of his plans in detail, although Igatta suspected he wasn't telling them everything, about how he planned to use their facilities for manufacturing weapons and armor. After a few nonchalant questions from Iggy some of Marthimesh's plans against the New Republic came to light- well, there were still a few shadows, but it was enough. By the end of the conversation Marthimesh believed he had the full support of the Zinitram's and they all shook hands, pleased.

Mithowan wasn't the one for negotiations; especially false ones. Being in the room wore him out, and it showed. As he was walking back towards their room with Iggy, he put his arm around her again, remembering to look married but forgeting what he said earlier.

Igatta was exhausted too, half because her brain had worked over time during the meeting, and partly because she had been worrying about what to say to Mithowan if he brought the earlier subject back up. Several minutes into the meeting though, the latter concerncs had vanished as Igatta was forced to put her full attention on the mission, and now her mind was too fatigued to care whether he put his arm around her or not; after all, it was just an act, and she wasn't going to let emotions get in the way of work.

When Mithowan and Igatta made it to their room, Mithowan didn't even bother to change. He just took his robe off, took his boots off, and laid on the floor in his undershirt and breeches.
