Igatta noticed Mithowan looked rather dashing in his nobel's robes as well, but she tried to keep attention on the mission. When they reached the dining room Martimesh and several others were already at the table.

Mithowan pulled out Igatta's chair, and then seated himself as the server driods began to roll out food.

"Good morning. I trust you got a good night's rest after your long journey?" "We did, thank-you." The aroma the hot breakfast was almost invogorating in itself, and Igatta realize how hungry she was after going most of yesterday with little more than a couple small snacks.

Mithowan kept silent during the breakfast, only speaking occasionally to ask someone to pass something or other. Whenever Marthimesh would ask Igatta something about their "homeworld" Mith would smile and nudge her under the table, but other than that he kept to himself.

Igatta was pretty quick-witted and didn't have trouble providing Marthimesh with a satisfactory answer to any of his questions, she was used to this sort of thing. For the most part she tried not to engage in any long-winded conversations in hopes she might overhear an informative sentence or two between the others at the table.

After they were done eating, Marthimesh sat back and looked at all his guests. Mithowan held his gaze, which apparently unnerved him. After a few minutes, he began to speak to each group from each world individually, while the rest ate or talked amongst themselves. Mith figured he had at least 15 minutes before Marthimesh got to them, so he turned to Igatta and asked if she had anything prepared.

Iggy informed Mith that she had made some preparations, but that they would also have to play this party by ear.

Mithowan noticed Marthimesh was speaking quietly to one specific group, so he reached into his robe and turned the recording devices sensitivity up. He sat there uncomfortably, waiting for Marthimesh to get to them.

Igatta waited as well, trying to look casual. She took a sip from the juice she'd been served with breakfast and kept her ears tuned to the conversation.

A server droid rolled up and spoke quietly into Marthimesh's ear when he was two groups away from Igatta and Mithowan. He whispered back to the droid, and then stood. "Excuse me! In honor of our gathering, I have commisioned my chefs to gather the finest material available to make you a special treat. I was going to save them for dinner, but I recently found that they have a limited shelf life and without the proper stasis equiptment, they can't wait." Mithowan looked behind him to the doors of the kitchen and saw several server droids roll out with covered platters, made from electrum. The droids set a platter in front of each guest with a flourish, and then prepared to remove the lids. "This is a rare dish that origionally came from the Senex sector. It was named after infant Tikiar birds by the locals. Its recipe has been lost for ages, but on a recent expedition one of my employees found it and brought it to me. It is with great pleasure that I present to you... Peeps!" At this the server droids removed the lids and rolled back to the kitchen, leaving the guests staring at their platters. Spread across the plates were small, bird shaped lumps of a mallowy substance, covered with sweet spices varying in color from yellow to pink to purple. Mithowan picked one up and slowly bit into, loving the flavor of the sweet shell.

Igatta looked at the odd bird-like desserts on her platter for a moment, then picked one up and raised it to her mouth, taking a bite of what would be the tail feathers. It was delicious.

Mithowan quickly decided his favorites were the pink ones. He didn't much care for the purple ones, but the yellows were ok. After everyone at the table had finished their desert, Marthimesh went back to talking. Before too long, it was Mithowan and Igatta's turn.

Igatta prepared herself for whatever Marthimesh would say, and went over everything in her mind that she might need to remember during the conversation.

Marthimesh finally got to them, and Mithowan looked him squarely in the eye as Igatta handled most of the talking.

"Mr. and Mrs. Zinitram, I've invited you to my home because you have expressed interest in becoming a part of our operations, and in hopes that we may be able to establish a lasting friendship that will benefit both of us, and I trust you share this desire." He paused, as if wanting them to concur. "Indeed, you have piqued our keenest interest." "Then I will continue. I understand Sundari is a very successful mining colony...it is my desire to..."tap into" some of the planet's vast resources. Would you know of any way to help make such a obsorption possible?" Igatta looked at Mithowan, as if looking for confirmation from her "husband" on where they stood in the matter.
