Mithowan looked at Igatta, and then back to Marthimesh. "Money is powers lubricant, I think with the proper 'motivation,' absorption will be very, very easy."

Marth smiled. "Thank you for your support." "But we would like to be let in, as much as is possible that is, on precicley how you plan to use our facilites and the resources mined from them. We like work with both eyes open."[/color] "I understand. Perhaps we could arrange a private meeting soon, during which we could further discuss the matter?" Igatta nodded, "We would be grateful." "Then it's settled. In the meantime, you are my guests, enjoy yourselves." He shook hands with both of them.

Mithowan rose from the table after shaking hands, and walked with Igatta back to their room. He put his arm around her shoulders and leaned close, whispering in her ear that they should look around the house while it still wasn't suspicious.

They entered the room. "Yes." She realized Mith's arm was still around her and stepped away. "I think now would be a good time to tour the house."

Mithowan blushed slightly and turned so Igatta wouldn't see. He walked to his case and pulled out two holdout blasters, which he tucked into his breeches, under his robe.

Igatta retrieved her blaster pistol from her bag as well and concealed it in her robes. "Ready?"

"Always." Mithwan walked through the door and slipped back into 'hubby' mode, looking affecionate to Igatta even with the way he walked.

As the two walked down the hall no one would have suspected them of being fakes, for they both played their parts convincingly. The first room they came to was an elaborate art room, with statues, holoprojected images of scenes from exotic worlds, and large paintings. While they would likely find nothing helpful here, Iggy felt they should try to appear as though they're taking a casual tour as they work their way toward Marthimesh's private rooms.

Although Mithowan didn't particularly enjoy noncom missions, and even though he wouldn't admit it, he found himself having fun walking through the house with Igatta. He didn't talk much, and neither did Igatta, but in some strange way he felt like it was the closest they'd been yet.

For some reason Igatta was having trouble with something she had never in her life had trouble with: acting. She knew she was acting, and she did the part well, but some part of her wondered what it might be like to have a real husband as attentive as Mithowan was in his act.

Mithowan and Igatta finally made it through all the museum and art galleries, and were finally getting to the more lived in areas of the house. They walked into the library, and checked to make sure it was empty, even though they hadn't seen another person for well over 30 minutes. When they were sure it was empty, they began to snoop for bound flimisplast books and set datapads with any helpful information.

Igatta checked several and found nothing, then came across a datapad about Black Sun and scanned the files.

Mithowan had crossed several things he recognized as obscure codes in both datapads and flimiplast books, and used a small recorder to either scan the datapad or photograph the book. Scouring the library took about an hour all in all.

After the library they found a small office which looked promising. Igatta assumed Marthimesh's most important files were locked in a safe somewhere, but they didn't need much, just enough to to convict him. While Iggy was going through a stack of durosheets she suddenly lifted her head at the sound of approaching footsteps.

Mithowan heard them too, and snuck to the door, using a small disruption unit to keep the door from opening for him automatically. He listened closely, and as the person outside began to punch in a code on a pad outside to open the door, he took off across the room as quietly as he could. He saw a small ventilation grate in the back corner, one big enough for Igatta. He jumped up and pulled the grate down quietly, and then boosted Igatta through and re-attached the grate. He quickly opened and slid out the window and then closed it behind him, hanging from the ledge outside. After a couple of minutes, the person inside made no move to leave, so Mithowan decided to find a more convenient hiding place. He noticed a port to the duct he'd Igatta had stashed away in, so he shimmied over and pulled himself up. After a bit of work, we managed to squeeze past the half open cover and into a verticle duct. He climbed a bit upwards until he found the branche that Igatta was in, and then he crawled forward so he was sitting next to her. Clearly visible through the grate was a maid, dusting of various items. Mithowan leaned over and whispered to Igatta, "That was a lot of work for a maid."
