Im looking forward to both of these games, i am most defintly getting them give me your thoughts on them.
First assassins Creed
The game takes place during the Third Crusade. The gamer plays as a member of the assassin sect Hashashin known as Altaïr. The player will be able to travel through three cities, Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus. The cities are populated by many people and the way the player controls Altair affects how people around you react to his or her presence. For example, when going through a crowd, if you lightly move someone out of the way, it will not have a significant effect, however, if one throws someone to the ground and kills him, the crowd may unite against the player and he or she will then have to find a way out. Similarly, for example, if you shove a person aside, they may shove you back. If you climb walls, civilians will gather around, attracting unwanted attention from guards.
Now Fable 2
The game has been officially announced by Lionhead Studios, the parent company of Big Blue Box developers, it is speculated for a late 2007 release and was announced during Microsoft's press conference at E3. No storyline summary has been released as of yet.
From the E3 trailer, it can be gathered that the game will take place in Albion, but 500 years later (according to PC Gamer UK Magazine), taking on a colonial theme, rather than medieval. This is evident in the way the characters in the trailer dress, and also in the fact that early firearms were seen briefly in several scenes. Peter Molyneux has given some hints, during an interview on G4 that Fable 2 will most likely have a multiplayer component.
Following the mixed reviews of Fable, many fans are hoping the sequel will take a more open-ended approach to the story and quests than the original.
Fable 2 takes place roughly 500 years after the original.
Albion has seen some significant changes, both to its scenery and characters.
Some "rather cool" twists have been promised.
From the trailer, early blunderbuss firearms.
The game will be a bit more mature than Fable.
There is a new woods region that is the size of all of the original Greatwood regions combined.
On September 29, 2006 Lionhead's Peter Moleyneux gave a preview of Fable 2 at X06:
In Fable 2 the Hero starts as a street urchin.
It is possible to play as Male/Female
It is now possible to have children.
You can plant an acorn into the ground and see it grow into an oak.
By financing a camp, or killing everyone inside it, you can effect the future of the camp.
Your child is affected by your actions.
