I was doing some research the other day and found something very interesting. This all started when I opened up my dad's Family Tree Maker... It went back like 14 generations or so to a man named "Anthony Bonner". He was born in the 1500's I believe. He married a woman named Bridget Savage. Anyhow, I entered in "Anthony Bonner Bridget Savage" in Google to see what I got and I got a whole page with carefully done research done out of some records in England which say that Bridget Savage comes from a long lineage of English kings!

Now, this isn't some nair-do-el trying to stir up some glory on the internet, because this genealogy I found was straight from English records (check behind me on the internet and in books) and on that site had nothing to do with anyone). The last person on the list was Bridget Savage, so that lets me know it wasn't some idiot trying to link himself up with royalty. It was basically linking past people up with past people. So anyway, I found this page and was shocked to see Bridget Savage on the list (with Anthony Bonner being beside it, as who she married)... now, I know... most people will say "oh, it's coincidence... it's two other people with the same name, no big deal"... well... on that very site it lists who one of the children are... Mary Bonner... the same name that is listed in my dad's Family Tree Maker (who knew nothing of this website, as his list did not extend above Anthony Bonner). And the birth years were exactly the same, coincidence? I think not.
So, this is where I link up that genealogy list with my dad's list...

So really, the only reason I'm related to those Kings and Queens (or whatever they called them. ) is because Anthony married Bridget... So at first it didn't mean much to me, but I kept thinking... as soon as Anthony II was born, the Bonner side took blood from the side that comes from the Kings and Queens... the same way you would take blood from your mother's side of the family (even though you do not share the same name).
FINAL NOTE: It's important to check your family's genealogy... you never know what you might find... I knew nothing about this until two days ago...
