Igatta walked down the street and up to a house. She rang the doorbell and waited. A young man with chocolate brown skin and blue eyes answered the door. "Can I help you? ...holy...Igatta??""Hey, Jeremiah." "Whoa, I- I wasn't expecting to see you! Come on in." ;DIgatta entered the small, but welcoming home. "Sorry I didn't call. It was last minute, I just happened to be in the area and remembered that you lived here now." "It's alright. I'm- it's great to see you! It's been at least six years.""Has it?" "Yeah." Jeremiah smiled. "So, how are you? How is life?" He sat down on the hover-couch and motioned to the chair across from him.Igatta sat down, her eyes took in the room in one glance, it was a small square livingroom, not the spotless sort of dwelling Iggy herself kept, but the place was well-kept. "Oh, you know, life is life. I, uh, I found my sister." "That's incredible! I knew you were too stubborn to give up until you found her. How is she?""She's great...happily married, they live on Pal-Desny." "How about you, where do you live these days?""Here and there. I rent an apartment on Corellia, but who knows whether the place is still in tact, I haven't been back in a while." The two had been talking for about ten minutes when Zeph looked at his wrist chronometer and announced, "Oh, uh, I didn't realize it was that late. I have to be somewhere."Iggy stood, "Alright, well, I should go anyway." "Igatta, there's one thing I have to tell you. I've actually been hoping we'd run into each other, so I could tell you this. Back in high school I did a lot of stupid things, you know I wasn't the greatest guy. After school things only got worse, I got involved with a lot of crap and messed my life up pretty bad. But then one day I gave it all to Jesus Christ, I forsook who I was and became a new person, the wrong that I did before was sin. I kept trying to excuse it, but it was like God kept tugging at me and I couldn't shake it, the longer I ran from Him the worse my life got and the more I needed a Savior to come and pull me out. Thanks to some good friends, God has been helping me change more and more. And I'm ashamed of who I was. So I need to apologize to you for setting such a rotton example, I know more times than once I talked you into getting into trouble with me. It was wrong, and I'm sorry."o.O ::NOOOOO!!!:: Igatta shruged, trying to look casual, but inside her heart was pounding so hard she was afraid Zeph might hear it. "It's okay," was all she could get out. But now that she had said it, it didn't really make sense. "Well, I don't want to keep you. I need to go anyway," she repeated. "Yeah, okay." Jeremiah walked to the door and opened it, stepping aside for Iggy to exit first. She proceeded him out, but Jeremiah stopped her, "hey, wait."She hesitantly turned to look at him. "Do you want to come with me? I'm going to a bible study at a friends house.""No thanks." "Are you sure? It can't hurt anything.""No. I, uh, God...that's just not for me." "Have you given it a try?""Well, no, but-" "You don't know whether something's for you until you've tried it. And if it's not, what can it hurt?""You go ahead." "Alright. Bye, Iggz, it was really good seeing you again." He took a few steps then turned around, "Incase you change your mind the address is PZ572 Riversway St."Igatta nodded and Jeremiah walked away.

Not knowing where to go next, Igatta just wandered down the street for a little while. Her first impulse was to leave, but she couldn't quite bring herself to do it, Jeremiah's words kept running through her mind, how was it that everyone she came into contact with these days was a Christian?? She hadn't even heard of Christianity until recently! Somehow she felt like she wasn't going to escape it until she faced. ::That way, I can tell everyone I gave it a try, then they'll leave me alone about it:: Igatta didn't want to, but she knew what she had to do. She gathered her courage and headed for Riversway street. She had spend her life pretending, she could certainly spend one evening pretending she was seeking to learn more about God. Jeremiah was right, if it wasn't for her, what would it hurt?
She reached the home and slowly lifted a hand to knock, now that she was actually here, she doubted her choice. But somehow Jeremiah had intimidated her, she wasn't going to wimp out, it wasn't the Fel way. She knocked on the door several times and it was answered by a household droid. She informed the droid that she was there for the bible study and was led to a room near the back of the house. As soon as she entered several curious glances were tossed her way. Never had she felt more out of place, she was about to turn around and make a run for it when Jeremiah spotted her and smiled boyishly, motioning to the seat beside him. It was too late, she had no choice but to face the crowd. She wished she had worn a disguise, somehow she felt like everyone in the room saw her for exactly who she was. And that made her feel uncomfortable.

The night didn't go how Igatta had anticipated, it had been much harder. She had been in a lot of awkward and uncomfortable situations in her life, and had always put up with them, but this was different. After trying to think up an excuse to leave, Iggy gave up and was forced to listen. The funny thing was, at some point during the study, she actually started to pay attention as a few words made their way through her thick scull. She found herself pondering some things as they went over the story of Jonah. The words, even when she tried not to listen, sunk deep into her mind. She wouldn't soon forget them. By the time the study ended, Igatta felt confused and humbled, she had thought herself pretty clever earlier on, but now she just felt stupid. Zeph introduced her to a few people who seemed kind and genuinly caring, no one treated her strangely or turned their noses up, the way she thought they might, but still she felt they all must be wondering what she was doing there. She got out as quickly as possible, after giving Zeph and quick good-bye and headed for her ship.

On her way home Iggy did some thinking, for some reason seeing her old friend again made her depressed, maybe it was because he was a Christian now, someone she had known since childhood. She was thinking she could go back and catch up on old times...it was a shock to find out he regretted those times. It made her feel lonely. After a short time she reached her ship.

Igatta walked from her ship up to Jeremiah's house. She rang the door bell and waited, she realized it was kind of late and hoped he wasn't in bed. After a few minutes Jeremiah answered the door, he looked curiously at Igatta. "Uh, hi, come on in!"Iggy walked through the door and stood near the entrence. "I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, I just wanted to thank you for inviting me tonight, and apologize for leaving in such a rush. I guess I was being a gungan." "Well, I-"Hold on, there's something else." Igatta really had no idea how to put it, so she said simply, "I became a Christian tonight." "Hu- what? You did?""I...I did. God has been...tugging on my heart for a while now. I kept running, but tonight I realized that I didn't have to." "It feels pretty amazing, doesn't it?" "Yes...it does, I didn't know...I never knew it was like this." "Sometimes words aren't enough to explain the way God makes you feel.""Yeah." "I have a gift for you. Wait here!" Jeremiah continued down the hall and turned into a room, leaving Igatta standing awkwardly in the hall. A few seconds later he returned bearing a simple black book. He offered it to her.Igatta looked at him inquisitively, and slowly took the book, she hold it in her hands and looked down at the title. "Thank-you." She looked back up at Jeremiah who smiled. "I keep extra bibles around the house incase I meet someone who needs one. - You're welcome""I've never had a bible before." "Well, now you do. See, on the first page there there's a list of the books- a bible is actually composed of a lot of books written by different godly men. You don't have to read it from cover-to-cover the way you do with regular books, you can just pick one book and read through it, or read a chapter..."Thank-you, Jeremiah. I'll read it." Igatta felt her heart move in a way it had never done before, she was touched as slowly the reality of what she had done -in giving her life to God- sunk in. Jeremiah was right, words just weren't enough. "I'll let you get to sleep. I think I need some time- a lot of time, to study this." "Alright, I'll see around then. Stay in touch, alright?""Alright. Goodbye." "Goodbye, Igatta. And congratulations." Iggy smiled and turned to leave the house. The door hissed open and she stepped out into the street and headed back to her ship. She was a new person now, and the joy and peace in her heart gave her a confidence that being a new person wasn't a bad thing at all.

One evening Jeremiah walked over to the bookshelf and pulled down a holobook. He sat down on his sofa and brought up a display which showed many pictures of faces from his past. He hadn't looked at his highschool year book in some time, but he had nothing to do at the present and saw no harm in picking the book up and going through it for a couple minutes. His eyes came to rest on a familiar face, a beautiful young girl with long brown hair and a defiant expression. He smiled to himself then closed the image. Seeing his old friend again had made him realize how much he missed her. When she was here he hadn't really thought anything of it, except that it was nice to see an old friend, and he had never allowed himself to think of Iggy as more than that- just a friend. In highschool his best friend liked her, so he had steered clear. But sense she had left one thing had been going through his mind, and it was how happy she looked the night she told him she had become a Christian. He wasn't helplessly in love or anything, but he felt like he wanted to get to know the new Igatta better. He prayed about the situation and put it in God's hands, he wasn't going to do anything without God's approval, so he saught Him first, and knew all would be well.
