I dont know I just got this off from the top of my head I think you shouldnt give money to homeless people because of the wothless or harmful things they could buy to themselves or others give them food and water instead and if giving them fodd give them somthing that will last a while like cereal or oats and see if you can drop them off at a shelter or somthing well thats my two-bits what about yours

Yeah, I think it'd be best to give food and such, that way you can be certain they won't use the money to buy booze or drugs. Now, if I knew a homeless individual well enough to know that they wouldn't, or if I felt like God wanted me to give them some money, then I would. It's a situation in which you should use discernment.

I've given money to people before. But only if I feel right about it. But if they go off and spend it on something useless like alcohol, their conscience can convict them. I really don't care, it's just money. I guess something to remember is that everyone will be judged by God in the end. Everyone's accountable for their actions, whether good or bad.
I did buy cheese burgers for these two homeless people before. They'd sell flowers at the bottom of the hill that I lived on. They were willing to work for money, and that's what counts. I let a guy wash my mom's windshield once for a few dollars too. If someone's willing to work for it, I think that's fine.
I just feel bad some some dude walks up all hungry looking and asks for money. It takes guts, and they should try to work but I just can't help it! Well I can, some guys look scary and I wouldn't want to even talk to them.

Around here, there's also a chance that the homeless person is actually not homeless, but faking it for money. It's always amusing to see a guy on the corner in worn-out clothes; carrying a "NEED MONEY FOR FOOD" sign, a nice cell phone, and a cup of Starbucks coffee o.O
