I have them all, too! And the shorter versions. I haven't watched either of them in so long... =(
You don't know how good Lord of the Rings is until you watch the Extended Edition!!

agreed. ^ I own the three extended ones (I couldn't find the EE trilogy set at a cheap price, so I had to buy them all seperatly... ... but i did end up getting them all for like $12 each... i got to BestBuy RIGHT before their sale stopped. ) I also own the FOTR and TTT VHS versions, and the ROTK widescreen DVD... well... their not EXACTLY mine... their my dad's. when i get older and move out i'll keep my EE DVDS... and my parents will probobly keep the regular ones... wait... I own the EE ones and the ROTK DVD... they own FOTR, and TTT VHS...

I don't own the EE versions, and never will. My mother bought the regular editions, despite the fact that I REPEATEDLY told her to please wait and get the EEs. But noooooo, she never listens. The book pwns the movies anyway, though

I don't own the EE versions, and never will. My mother bought the regular editions, despite the fact that I REPEATEDLY told her to please wait and get the EEs. But noooooo, she never listens. The book pwns the movies anyway, though I partly agree ^ I read the books and they are pwnsome! They are the best books I've ever read. I saw the movies and they are also pwnsome! They are the best movies I've ever seen. ... ... So I kinda like the books a little bit better, because there was a LOT of stuff missing from the movies that they just didn't have enough time to put in... But I will state that even though the FOTR has like 30 minutes added, and TTT has 42 minutes added, and ROTK has 50 minutes added... even though they have all that added, they, for some reason, still did not add some other stuff like The Old Forest, Tom Bombidil, The Barrow Wights, etc... I don't see why they couldn't add that! -.-
