Let's face it... although I realize there are a majority of people on here who are all about Narnia... Narnia rocks, Narnia is king of films... all hail Narnia... bla, bla, bla...
Yes, Narnia is a good film... but come on, let's face it. Indy has been around since the 80's as a HUGE successful series. All of a sudden it's returned! This is big, bigger than Narnia. Batman has been around since the 30's as one of THE top three comic-book heroes along with Spidey and Superman... Batman was shamed in the 60's, done good in the late 80's, early 90's and then in mid and late 90's it was shamed again by Schumacher. It seemed all was over for Batman (despite the fact that outside of movies it was VERY popular STILL!!! Schumacher could NOT kill Batman completely... even though Batman & Robin is considered THE BIGGEST let-down film of ALL time... Then Christopher Nolan did Batman Begins and the series FINALLY was done justice. Now Batman returns in The Dark Knight alongside the MOST popular comic-book villain of all time: The Joker, who the late Heath Ledger acted as.
Yes, Narnia was good, but there's no buts about it. Batman and Indy WILL be the BIGGEST films of the year. Narnia and some others will be next in line. But it's pretty much general knowledge that Batman and Indy will be the top two. Question is... which one will be numeral uno?
Firstly I need to ask you to put YOU'RE personal feelings aside partly on this one... yes, put what YOU feel will be best... but remember that don't pick Batman as best JUST because you're obsessed with him, same with Indy... I'm speaking to me too... and don't pick "Other" just because you're obsessed with Narnia...
________
I personally feel that Indy will make more money... just because of the fact that... well... he's Indy! He hasn't made moola in the theaters since the 80's. But all in all I think The Dark Knight will be better story-wise... As an obsessive Batman fan I'd say Batman will be WAY better story-wise... but putting personal obsessions behind I still think Batman will be better story-wise, but only by a little bit. George Lucas himself stated in an interview that he feels Batman will be the better film!
