Like I said, I'm trying to help more people. I'd rather save thousands or even millions of people rather than the few here and there with the Jedi. I can do more in the Senate than with the Jedi. That's all.

Is that what you really think? Spending hours in session only to arrive to the conclusion that you disagree is not my idea of saving lives.

*stiffens at the remark* We do other things as well. I have risked my neck quite a few times doing thigs in the name of the Republic. I even got to the point of being a prisoner. You don't know what' its like to be a Senator, Tim.

What about Palpatine? The corruption of power will always remain, you must see that.

Palpatine is long dead! That was 500 years ago. I do see the corruption that remains, but I must do what I can to bring sanity and compassion to the Republic. Nothing can change that.

For over a thousand generations, the Jedi served the Old Repubic, as the core, keeping the peace and saving the Old Republic countless times.

I know, but they fell to Palpatine and Vader quite quickly. The Senate lasted longer. The Senate came back before the Jedi did.

if it weren't for the senate in the first place, the jedi would have never died off. *looks into siri's eyes* The senate gladly gave palpatine the galaxy, and on a silver platter, I might add.

*stares back, a fire burning in her eyes* Most of the SEnators weren't really understanding what was going on. Palpatine twisted everything. They wanted the Clone War to be over. They were betrayed too.

What happened to them? *looks back, fire in his eyes as well.* The Jedi were brutally killed, thousands dieing withing a couple of minutes. Those echo's still remain in the force. And what happened to the senate? Sure, palpatine disasembled the democratic structure, but does that wound still echo through the galaxy?

I- *is at a loss as to what to say* I can't deal with this now Tim. Can we just leave it at both the Senate and the Jedi suffered from Palpatine's manupliating? I really need to go sign that document.
