The loss of Tobey Maguire would be fatal to the Spider-Man movies...
... especially if they intend on Spider-Man 4 taking place not long after Spider-Man 3.
If they planned on having a time-leap of say around 10 years, then it wouldn't be AS bad, I guess...
Kirsten? meh... she's ok... but I can live without her being in the movies.
As for Dylan Baker, playing Connors/Lizard, I beleive I read sometime back that he planned to come back, and he was actually excited to play a villain. That's good news!
Rosemary Harris talked about how she didn't get the chance to swing around with Spidey in Spider-Man 3, like she did in Spider-Man 2. Then she said "well, there's always Spider-Man 4, I guess." I took this to mean that she plans to come back for Spider-Man 4.
J.K. Simmons playing JJ Jameson? I really haven't heard much about this, but I'm guessing he will come back, because he really seems like the type of actor that comes back to be in a series over and over again unless he's fired. Does he play in that TV series "Closer"? Well, acting in TV series takes a lot more, and he's been in that show quite a while, I think... so he may just be willing to come back for a few more Spider-Man movies.
Bryce Dallas Howard coming back as Gwen Stacy? They brought Gwen in, I'm pretty sure they'll finish out her plot by killing her off eventually, like in the comics. Bryce coming back is uncertin. I hope she does.
Thomas Haden Church coming back for Sandman is unknown too... Thomas isn't use to big bucks films. Usually when someone's first introduced to these type of films, they don't wanna leave too soon.
Alfred Molina coming back as Doc Ock? Maybe... unlikely though... Ock was killed off... though, of course, there's been a LOT of rumors that he'll make an appearance in Spider-Man 4.
That reminds me. There's also rumors that Norman Osborn will come back to life in the future, like he did in the comics. If so, then Willem would love to come back, I'm guessing. He's been with Spider-Man (movies) ever since the first one. And if Norman doesn't come back to life, then Harry might. Ofterall, in the comics, the Performance Enhancers kept Norman alive.
And as for how many more movies there will be. Sony said there will indeed be 3 more. That means up to Spider-Man 6. And there's even a strong rumor that a Spider-Man 7 will be made. If not, I hope they reboot the series. Either starting over, like Batman did. Or continuing, like Superman did.
