Well, this thread... eh... I got bored. So let's skip the mumbo-jumbo and duke it out. IN SPACE! You are the (mostly) omniscient and (relatively) omnipotent commander of a fleet of ships. The amount and availability of ships depends on the scenario. As the "Admiral" of your navy, you can: Command your ships with instantaneous synchronization. No more silly communication lags! Choose from a broad selection of ships to combat the dastardly enemy. Other Admiralish things. Who woulda thought? Anyhoo, if you wanna participate, we can work out the details here. update1: A link for if you want to customize your fleet. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Starships_by_affiliationupdate2: Link to different shipwrights, all with custom ships. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Shipwrights

Tartius Maximus Jovenius flew past in his little Wasp V6-QH7 2009 Vintage 8-23-99ASDD and noticed a person idling in the dead of space. Obviously wanting to be exploded, Tartius Maximus Jovenius decided to end the life that was screaming for vindication. And so he did.. with his Wasp V6-QH7 2009 Vintage 8-23-99ASDD. Then he went to visit his old school buddies from Marngnarng5 where they had a few drinks, a couple of lafs then went to view a cinema. Good times, good times.

Mmk, there are two sides, Rebel and Imperial, in this scenario. Out in dead space, without a planet for multiple parsecs, an Imperial patrol group's Interdictor stopped a Rebel fleet that was en route to Bespin for whatever reason. The Imperial goal is to kick Rebel ass, and the Rebel goal is to neutralize the Interdictor. The area of engagement is roughly 10,000km by 10,000km, or 10,000km^2 square kilometers. On one side is the Rebel fleet, the other side has the Imperials. Nice and simple.

The Rebel Fleet is made up of 1 MC90 and 4 MC40s. The Imperial fleet is one Interdictor, an Imperial-I class Star Destroyer, and 4 Victory-II Class Star Destroyers.
All ships have full complements of fighters.

A full alert was sent out, and with the grace of a stunned bantha, the ships started moving in a wedge towards the Imperial forces. The MC40s, like little green turds compared to the MC90, pushed their thrusters to the maximum, with the MC90 coyly cradled between them. The fighters stayed in the hangars, quiet but readied, waiting for the blast doors keeping the hangars safe to open.
They had snagged a target, and now they must dispatch it. The ISD moved slowly ahead of the Interdictor, maneuvering so that it would completely block the Interdictor from the enemy's long range turbolasers. Aside from the Interdictor cowering in the back, it was arranged like a basic chess line, with the four VSDs, or Victory Star Destroyers, in front in a staggered line. The Queen of this fleet, the ISD, was just behind them, and behind it, the wimpy King hid. So much effort for the power to pull an object from hyperspace.
The fleet waited, letting the enemy come to them, withholding fighters till they were necessary.

The Rebel fleet continued on its course. Its MC40s continued to keep the MC90 between them, until they were 6000km from the enemy. Then, they slowed, letting the MC90 edge to the front. The MC40s formed a box around the aft of the enormous Star Cruiser, and stayed that way.
As they drew nearer to the enemy fleet, only 3000 KM away, they unloaded the fighters...
The Imperials, feeling fairly reactionary, stood their ground. They didn't even let their fighters out. However, once the enemy got to 1000 KM away, they would taste a surprise.

OMG YAY! Eh, we could set up a new match if you want, something more creative. And I'm sure you'd do fine.

Alrighty, what do you want to do. Something large scale or something smaller (which I think could be more fun) like just a simple squadron or handful going against each other in a middle of a battle, that way it could be a bit more detailed. But I'd be find with either which, they both sound pretty fun.

Hmmm... how about... we each have 3 fighter squadrons and 2 bomber squadrons. There is one target for each team, say, a small satellite, and it'll be like capture the flag. The difference; you blow up the flag. Anyhoo, the fighters and bombers can be chosen from my links up there, and the number of fighters per squadron is 5 or 7.

Sounds good to me, I don't care which types of fighters or bombers I use so you can go ahead and set everything up if you want. After all, it's your thread .
