Of course there's going to be rumors, people want it. But i'd seriously be shocked if it actually happened. And if it were to happen, I'd want it to be the Thrawn Trilogy or something cool like that. <_<

I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, but here's a few interesting links: www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=6318answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071025153225AAEcmJw (look down a few answers) I personally would rather they do a few more movies taking place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Only problem really is the numbering... Episode I - VI is already taken... so my suggestion is they drop the numbers and just title them something like this: Star Wars: Rise of the Empire (or something like that) Then, maybe, after a while, take out the numbers of all the rest of the movies to make it more connecting... Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Star Wars: Rise of the Empire Star Wars: The Rising Remnant Star Wars: The Rebel Uprising Star Wars: A New Hope Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Return of the Jedi maybe? or... maybe not. but still some in between films would be nice. James Earl Jones could come back as the voice of Darth Vader, Hayden Christianson could come back for the moments that his mask is removed (like in ESB). Ewan McGregor too... Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine... Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa... Wayne Pygram as Tarkin... then possibly as the new in-between series continues bring in new actors as Luke, Leia and Han Solo.

Assuming that they actually did something, I think Thrawn trilogy fits the best because it's relatively close to episode 6; only about 5 years after, which isn't that much related to the gaps between other episodes. Also, for the most part, it's self-contained enough to not need to have contextual EU information. Plus it has Thrawn. Thrawn = win.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Star Wars: Rise of the Empire Star Wars: The Rising Remnant Star Wars: The Rebel Uprising Star Wars: A New Hope Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Return of the Jedi The Rebel Uprising is the most boring name for a movie ever.

Yeah....and " Rise of the Empire", "The Rising Remnant", "The Rebel Uprising"....horribly redundant. T_T
