I'm a bounty hunter. *She said lightly, glancing at him.* What about you?

"As I said before, I'm a student of the force. I've been learning new powers all the time, hopefully someday I'll understand the force enough to be able to follow it completely. For the moment I must go where my master tells me, and I may not like my destination all that much."

You're master? *She gave him a strange look.* How do you have a master if you aren't a sith or a jedi?

"Many truths depend greatly on your own point of view. From my Masters point of view, I'm one of them. From an objective outsiders point of view, I'm jsut an ordinary man trying to make my way in the universe."

So, you do follow a master from one of the sides, but you aren't really with them? *She asked, then smilied slightly.* That could get you in trouble one day.

"My Master provides training. I don't see things his way, but he may think I do. I don't interact with him much anymore. Any any trouble I get into the Force can easily get me out of."

Don't depend so much on the force. *She said shortly, looking straight ahead.*

"The Force is one of the basic principles of life," He said softly, laying his hand on her shoulder, "Without it there would be no life. It leads us in ways nothing else can, to places nothing else can. It controls your destiny."

*She sighed, closing her eyes for a second, then openeing them again and looking at him.* So far the force has only lead me to pain, and I'm sure it has a lot more in store for me. I'm not letting it lead me or control my destiny anymore.

"As hard as it is to accept, you can't stop it. Regardless of where you run, the force is a river that flows through all, and the harder you fight, the more worn-down you'll become. Let it flow through you, and flow with it, and you'll find what will truly make you happy." He said this with a smile, and gently lifted his hand away.

What will truely make me happy is to never know or feel the force again. I doubt letting it flow through me will accomplish that, will it? *She said, a bit harshly.* We're almost there.

Taken back but not dissuede, Allyx pressed on, "Would you mind if I asked you why made you so cynical to the force?"

*She crossed her arms, glancing at him. Normally she didn't care to tell anyone much about her.* It just seems that everything bad that has happened to me has either been connected to the force, the jedi, or the sith. If the force never existed or never touched me or my family then I wouldn't be where I am today.

"EVery good thing comes of the Force, too. The Force is a balance, and without it being kept level, it looses order. We can blame the Force for what goes wrong any more than we can blame the wind for blowing away a flower." As he said this he bend down and plucked a little flower full of seedpods, and used the Force to blow the pods away. He sat the flower down on the ground gently, and straightened.

*She looked at the ground as he spoken, listening to his words. It would take a lot more than that to convince her though. She didn't say anything in resonse to him, and after he set down the flower, she turned her attenion straight ahead.*
