Soral entered the room and slowly sat down on the cushoined seat, she closed her eyes and reached into the force, the world, the galaxy. She felt for the broken hearts, the lost and lonely, she found much pain. Sometimes people would ask Master Sam'twy why she bothered when there was so much pain in the galaxy, too much for any one person to heal, other masters had even been hesitent about this practice of Soral's, afraid that her concern would lead to her falling away, that she wouldn't be able to accept the fact that sometimes you just had to let people go, rather than work in vain to save them. But Soral knew better, she knew when to let go, when to love. And sure, maybe she couldn't save everybody in the galaxy, but the way she saw it, if there was just one person who cared for every one person who hurt, the galaxy would be a lot better place, so she continued to be among those who cared, knowing that it would all be worth it if she could even effect one life, in some small way, for the better.

The wisened master began to see images, faces and places from her past. Soon, as real as life, she was standing beside her old master Sally-Wan, gazing through a large window in one of the training rooms in the temple, at the vast cityscape outside. "Master?" "Yes, Soral? "There is a lot of pain in the galaxy, isn't there?" "Yes...far too much." "I wish I could help somehow." Sally-Wan looked at Soral, "You can." Soral met her gaze, "How? Do you think it's possible to visit and help every single bleeding soul? It would take a lifetime." She turned back to watching the traffic outside, a thoughtful expression on her face. "It has been said, 'love is larger than the walls which shut it in', do you understand what that means?" She thought. "It means that we can love no matter where we are, that we can make a difference just by caring." "Then care, Soral, and never stop caring." Soral opened her eyes to find herself back in the meditation chamber, no longer the young inquizitive padawan in her vision.
